Ratt – You’re In Love – Music Video

Ratt was one of the first bands to break out of the fertile LA music scene in the early 80′s with bands like Motley Crue and Dokken. They went on to be one of the biggest concert draws of the mid 80′s and ushering in the derogatory hair metal of the late eighties.

A duo of fine guitar players and infectious hooks and grooves, I still find myself listening to Invasion of Your Privacy and Out of the Celler even today. It takes me back to when I was 15 years old and seeing my first rock n’ roll concert without adult supervision. The music of youth, and rebellion still has a place in my music collection.

Ratt n’ roll.

Update…

  1. truly one of the best quartets of the 80′s Ratt has influenced me in many ways, though it’s a shame they didn’t receive as much credibility as they would’ve had GNR not came into the scene….
