David Coverdale of Whitesnake is withouta doubt one of the best singers/front man in rock n’ roll. Looking at the Lay Down Your Love music video in HD shouldn’t leave you with any questions. If you have fallowed Whitesnake over the years, you well know that David Coverdale is Whitesnake. Coverdale has put together some great bands over his career including the great guitarists Mel Galley, John Sykes, Steve Via, and most recently, Reb Beach. Always compared to Robert Plant, Coverdale is his own singer in my ears. His distinction in the heavy metal world is owed to his R&B roots. If you listen, you can hear it in most every song. The lasted album, Good to Be Bad, really shines. If you are an old Whitesnake fan, don’t be afraid to pick this up. If you are curious and wonder if you should be a fan, go ahead and go for it… but don’t forget to listen to the classics like Slide It In and Whitesnake.
