This is the song “Electra” which appears to be the last studio recording from Ronnie James Dio who past away Sunday. A heavy metal pioneer, Ronnie James Dio was known for his powerful voice and lyrics of good versus evil. Not only was he well respected by fans and fellow rockers for his music, he was also considered one of the foremost gentleman in the entertainment business.
Released on the limited edition Tournado Box Set, we may see “Electra” released on a future release.

Great. Great. Great. Unfortunately today there is no one that who’s worth of rocke’n'roll scene, who is at list close to Dio, I’m afraid that rock is dieing.

I’d disagree with what intresting facts has stated, it’s not dying, it’s just harder to find. And if you’re looking for it on the typical radio station, that’s a lost cause.
Dio was the first concert I ever saw. Always the consummate gentlemen, professional and metal singer. No one could match him for talent and blazing trails in metal that he never really got the credit he deserved for.
He’ll be missed. I’ll always remember seeing him live as my introduction to metal shows.

Dio was your first metal show? What a great way to start.
I second that.
I have a varied taste in music, I like most types.MY first love was rock ‘n roll, the Beatles, Rolling Stones were some of the first for me. But no matter the type what I enjoy the most is good guitar riffs (along of course with the other instruments) and a strong, solid singing voice-the simpler the better.
“Electra” definitely delivers.
A man may die, but a LEGEND will live forever.
